Sephora-mini.

This is a mini haul from Sephora. We went to South Coast Plaza, and we showed MUCH restraint.

We ate at the Claim Jumper, and we HIGHLY recommend the Baked Potato soup. Mmm mmm!!

This is from Carol's Daughter. I love this brand, this is Candy Paint lipgloss, the shade is "Grown and Sexy". This is a very nice goldy peach, lots of shimmer. This picture with the flash makes it look pink. I want to post a swatch picture, no flash, because this color is MUCH nicer than the bubble gum pink it looks to be here. It's all natural with shea butter and aloe. Carol's Daughter is expanding, they have these now, and their new fragrance -Pearls.

This is Laura Gellar "City Lights". Essentially a clear lip gloss with loads of shimmer. Its irridescent glitter/shimmer, not gritty and very smooth. This is my first Laura Gellar purchase, I am excited to use this. This needs a swatch picture also. C gets excited and posts pics / blogs with out swatch pics. * will add today *

This is a Sephora makeup brand plumping lip gloss in a sort of iridescent bluey-pink color. I love Sephora's own brand, I find everything to be high quality. * swatch pics coming *

M AND C each got one of these little babies. It's a "perfume balm". This scent is called, "Hawaiin Ruby Guava." It's just like a grapefruit-ish kinda floral scent. You put little dabs on your wrists, behind the ears and it's just strong enough to float to a person next to you; surprisingly because it's such an odd form of perfume. These were 9$ and they have about 5 or 6 other scents. FAVORITE FIND!

Sephora Insider gift today. It is a roll on sample perfume by Clean. It's a very basic, fresh smelling roll on.

** This blog post is incomplete. We hauled more yesterday - clothes / jewelry. I want swatch pics added. We will update this today **

-03/17/09= Hi, it's C. It's very hard to add pictures to a blog that's already been published. I'm an amateur I'm sorry ladies. LOL. I made another blog with the "swatches" from this post and the clothes and other things we bought with these items. <3C

FOTD: Using Sleek Palette and bananas GOSH eyeliner...

This is a picture of the face "M" did today with the contents of her package from Magpie Sparkles. The Sleek eyeshadow palette, the banana eyeliner, and even the MeMeMe highlighter.

She used the dark blue glitter color of the palette on her eyes... The Bananas eyeliner is hard to see because she is looking down. And the MeMeMe highlighter on cheeks.

(I will try to add a few more pictures of this face later today.)

Thank you Emma!

UK swap! (Thank you Magpie Sparkles!)

My first UK swap! Emma, AKA "Magpie Sparkles" agreed to do a drugstore trade with me overseas! Yay! This is a list of the contents of my package.
*************************************

Divine Mineral Based Eye Palette in "Storm" (578)- Sleek Makeup
Mini Bourjois lipgloss in Au Menthol
The Little Pink Tin lip balm
MeMeMe Beat the Blues iredescent highlighter
BarryM lipstick #132
GOSH eyeliner in Bananas

This is the eyeshadow palette. It has really good neutrals, nothing too crazy. It has some matte colors and some sparkly ones. The colors are so soft and very nicely pigmented. I love this!

This is the Little Pink Tin lip balm, I am really liking the fact that this has SPF!

This is the Bananas eyeliner. OMG this color is very nice and very fresh looking for a lower lash line. I love this!

This is the mini Burjois lipgloss! It's so cute and it has a tiny loop of pink string so it can dangle from your cell phone or maybe even a key chain. =D

This is the BarryM lipstick. It's very smooth, the color is awesome. This picture doesn't do it justice. It looks like a rose/gold in the tube, and on the lips its metallic and almost bronzey. The finish is nice, kind of a satin. WOW !

This is a GREAT highlighter. The applicator is like a nail polish brush. The color is a peachy gold. This picture makes it look cool, it is not - its warm and when blended out, its a very nice gold. This looks like it would easily be an eyes/lips/face product - multi-taskers are the best.

"For Audrey"

This color is "For Audrey"- CHG.

It was sent to us from a friend on MakeUpAlley.com (SoPolished). Thank you!

It is SUCH a nice color, kind of a very pale teal or "Robin's Egg" color. These nails and toes are C's of MC Zhoozh.

This style was created with the base and top coat from the Sally Beauty Supply Haul in our first blog. Also a few colors from our stash that we already had at home.

Seche clear base coat
Seche clear top coat
For Audrey- CHG
White- Milani
Licorice- Esse

Seche clear base coat- allow to drie to almost a matte finish, very smooth foundation for the color you're using on your nail.
Two coats, maybe three, or the For Audrey- all to dry for about 4 or 5 minutes because when you do the flower design you don't want to drag the For Audrey with the Esse- "Licorice" when you make the flowers.
To make the flowers, use a toothpick. I cut the toothpick right in the middle to make a tiny circular kind of "stamp" to make the flowers. Dip that end into Licorice and "stamp" 5 cirlcles in the shape a the flower like I have shown. Fairly close together but be careful not to let them touch. Wait 60 seconds and then use the pointy end of the toothpick to drag from the center of each "petal" towars the middle of all the five circles you made. This will create a kind of 3-D look to the petals of your flower. For the middle use the other half of that toothpick that I cut and use the NON-pointy end to dip into any color you desire. Yellow, orange, purple, red... I used the Milani color "White".
Last, apply a coat of the quick dry Seche top coat and allow to dry for 10 or 15 minutes.

I used the same routine for the other hand and both feet. It came out so cute and I LOVE the For Audrey color. Thank you SO much "SoPolished"!! Today is Friday and I painted on Wednesday, SO! I will update this blog again soon to tell you ladies how the "chippage" is. =D
